About this recipe

Baked peaches with ricotta are a light fruit dessert that pairs warm, soft peaches with mild, creamy cheese. Ricotta gives the dish a delicate milky texture, honey highlights the fruit's sweetness, and vanilla adds a dessert-like aroma. Sliced almonds bring a crisp accent that balances the soft peaches. Bake the fruit only until it softens and releases its juices while still holding its shape.

Ingredients

Servings: 2

  • 4 peaches

  • 120 g ricotta

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • a pinch of vanilla

  • 1 tablespoon sliced almonds

Steps

  1. Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits.

  2. Mix the ricotta with the honey and vanilla.

  3. Spoon the ricotta into the cavities left by the pits and sprinkle with the sliced almonds.

  4. Bake at 180°C for 15–20 minutes, until the fruit is soft and the filling is warmed through.

  5. Serve after cooling briefly.
