About this recipe

These pear and cinnamon pancakes are soft, lightly fruity pancakes made with eggs, milk, all-purpose flour, and juicy pear. Pear contributes gentle sweetness and moisture, while cinnamon enhances its warm dessert aroma. Keep the batter thick but easy to spoon so the fruit stays evenly distributed. Cook gently over medium heat so the centers cook through while the edges brown lightly.

Ingredients

Servings: 4

  • 1 pear

  • 2 eggs

  • 150 g all-purpose flour

  • 120 ml milk

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Steps

  1. Mix the eggs with the milk and sugar, and prepare the pear separately just before adding it to the batter.

  2. Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and finely chopped pear, then briefly combine the ingredients.

  3. After mixing, let the batter stand for 5 minutes so the chopped pear releases a little juice.

  4. Cook small portions for 2–3 minutes per side over medium heat, until the bottom is set.

  5. Turn only once the edges have set; otherwise, the pear pieces may tear the pancakes.
