About this recipe

These waffles with yogurt and blueberries are a dessert made with milk, eggs, and yogurt, then topped with fresh berries. Yogurt gives the batter a delicate texture, oil helps keep the centers soft, and blueberries add juiciness and fresh fruit contrast. The batter should be smooth and pourable but not too thin, so the waffles hold their shape in the waffle maker. Cook until well browned for waffles that are lightly crisp outside and soft inside.

Ingredients

Servings: 6

  • 180 g all-purpose flour

  • 2 eggs

  • 250 ml milk

  • 150 g yogurt (100 g for the batter, 50 g for serving)

  • 120 g blueberries

  • 100 g sugar

  • 50 ml oil

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Steps

  1. Preheat the waffle maker thoroughly.

  2. Mix the eggs with the milk, sugar, and all 50 ml of oil.

  3. Add 100 g yogurt, the flour, and the baking powder, mixing only until the batter is smooth and pourable.

  4. Cook portions of batter for 3–5 minutes, until the waffles are browned. Add the blueberries only when serving so they do not release juice in the waffle maker.

  5. Serve immediately with the remaining 50 g yogurt and the blueberries.
