About this recipe

Cold brew with orange is a chilled coffee drink made with cold brew or strong chilled coffee, served with ice and a slice of orange. Maple syrup adds gentle sweetness, while water helps mellow the coffee’s intensity without masking its flavor. The orange brings a citrus aroma and nicely cuts through the coffee’s bitterness. This recipe works well for iced coffee when you want something lighter than a milky iced coffee but more interesting than coffee with ice alone.

Ingredients

Servings: 1

  • 200 ml cold brew or strong chilled coffee

  • 1 slice of orange

  • ice cubes

  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup

  • 50 ml water

Steps

  1. Use well-chilled cold brew or strong coffee brewed ahead of time and completely cooled.

  2. Wash the orange and prepare a slice; add ice cubes to a glass.

  3. Stir the coffee with the water and maple syrup, then pour it over the ice.

  4. Add the orange slice and serve right away, before the ice dilutes the coffee too much.
