About this recipe

This linden and raspberry infusion is a delicate drink made with linden tea, raspberries, honey, and a slice of lemon. Linden provides a mild herbal base, raspberries add color and light fruit tartness, and lemon freshens the drink. Honey complements the linden aroma and is best stirred in after steeping. Prepare the infusion in a mug or small pitcher when you want a gentle herbal drink with a brighter fruit note.

Ingredients

Servings: 2

  • 500 ml water

  • 2 linden tea bags

  • 80 g raspberries

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • 1 lemon slice

Steps

  1. Place the linden tea bags in a pitcher or large mug. Gently rinse the raspberries and lightly crush a few of them so they release their juice more quickly.

  2. Pour hot water over the linden tea and raspberries, then cover the vessel. Steep for 6–8 minutes, until the infusion takes on a raspberry color and a mild herbal aroma.

  3. Remove the linden tea bags, then add the lemon slice after steeping. This way, the lemon will freshen the flavor without overpowering the delicate base.

  4. When the infusion has cooled slightly, stir in the honey. Serve with the raspberries, or strain if you want to avoid seeds in the drink.
