About this recipe

Raspberry lemonade is a vividly red fruit drink made with raspberries, lemons, water, honey, and ice. The raspberries add their distinctive aroma and a lightly seedy texture, while the lemons keep the base bright and tart. Mash some of the berries with the honey to draw out their juice, and leave the rest whole in the pitcher. For a smoother drink, strain the raspberry base before adding the remaining water.

Ingredients

Servings: 4

  • 180 g raspberries

  • 2 lemons

  • 1 liter water

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • ice cubes

Steps

  1. Gently sort through the raspberries and rinse them if needed. Halve and juice the lemons.

  2. Mash some of the raspberries with the honey in a pitcher to draw out their juice. Add the lemon juice and stir in a small amount of water.

  3. Pour in the remaining water, then add the ice cubes and remaining raspberries. Stir gently so the fruit does not break down completely.

  4. Serve right away or after chilling briefly. If the raspberry seeds bother you, strain the raspberry-lemon base before adding all the water.
