About this recipe

Strawberry overnight oats are a quick chilled breakfast made with simple, mild ingredients. The rolled oats soften overnight in plain yogurt, strawberries add freshness and fruity sweetness, and a little honey rounds out the flavor. You can mash some of the strawberries and mix them into the base for a fruitier mixture, leaving the rest in pieces. Prepare the oats in a jar in the evening so they are ready when you take them out of the refrigerator in the morning. They make a light, convenient breakfast at home or on the go.

Ingredients

Servings: 1

  • 70 g rolled oats

  • 180 g plain yogurt

  • 100 g strawberries

  • 1 teaspoon honey

Steps

  1. Cut the strawberries into small pieces.

  2. In a container, combine the rolled oats with the yogurt, honey, and most of the strawberries.

  3. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

  4. In the morning, spoon the remaining strawberries over the top and serve right away.
