About this recipe

This tuna and corn sandwich spread is quick to make for breakfast, dinner, or a packed meal for work. Tuna provides a savory, satisfying base, corn adds mild sweetness, and yogurt binds everything into a creamy mixture. Drain both the tuna and corn thoroughly so the spread does not become watery. Season only after mixing because canned tuna can already be salty. Serve with bread, lettuce, cucumber, or tomato.

Ingredients

Servings: 4

  • 1 can tuna

  • 2 tablespoons yogurt

  • 3 tablespoons corn

  • 4 slices bread

  • a pinch of black pepper

Steps

  1. Drain the tuna thoroughly, then rinse and drain the corn.

  2. Flake the tuna with a fork and mix it with the yogurt.

  3. Add the corn and stir briefly so the kernels remain whole.

  4. Season with pepper and serve on bread.
