About this recipe

This dessert cup combines creamy ricotta, the warm aroma of cinnamon, and the sweetness of honey. Baking makes the pear soft, juicy, and more intensely flavored, a good match for the mild ricotta. Crushed plain crisp cookies add a simple crisp layer that contrasts with the pear's soft texture. Let the pear cool briefly before serving so it does not thin the cream but remains pleasantly aromatic.

Ingredients

Servings: 2

  • 150 g ricotta

  • 1 pear

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • a pinch of cinnamon

  • 2 tablespoons crushed plain crisp cookies

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C. Cut the pear into cubes or eighths and toss with the cinnamon and half of the honey.

  2. Bake the pear for 12–15 minutes, until soft and beginning to release a little juice.

  3. Mix the ricotta with the remaining honey until smooth and creamy.

  4. Crush the plain crisp cookies and sprinkle about half the crumbs over the bottoms of the dessert cups.

  5. Add the ricotta, the warm or briefly cooled baked pear, and the remaining crumbs. Serve right away or chill briefly.
