About this recipe

Pear and cinnamon oat bars are a baked snack made with rolled oats, honey, and sunflower seeds. Grated pear adds moisture and gentle fruity sweetness, while cinnamon gives the bars a warm, dessert-like aroma. Sunflower seeds add a light crunch that contrasts with the soft oat base. Press the mixture firmly into the pan so the baked bars cut cleanly into even pieces.

Ingredients

Servings: 2

  • 180 g rolled oats

  • 1 grated pear

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds

Steps

  1. Grate the pear and gently squeeze out some of its juice.

  2. Combine it with the oats, cinnamon, honey, and sunflower seeds.

  3. Spread the mixture evenly in a 20 × 20 cm pan lined with parchment paper and press down firmly.

  4. Bake for 20–25 minutes in a conventional oven (no fan) preheated to 180°C, on the middle rack. Cool completely and cut into 6 even bars; the recipe makes 2 servings of 3 bars each.
